Ian Stott
           
Ian Stott (horn) started his career at sixteen joining the Band Of The Life Guards, training at Kneller Hallunder Denzil Floyd. He became first horn at eighteen and played all over the World with band, including regular recording, live radio work and performing for the Royal Family. Whilst stationed in Knightsbridge he studied at the Guildhall School of Music and started freelancing. He left the army in 1996 and has subsequently worked as a freelancer with ensembles such as the London Concert Orchestra, Chameleon Brass and The National Symphony Orchestra. Ian also teaches for Surrey, Kingston and Richmond music services as a horn specialist and also at Epsom College. He is married with one child and living in Dorking.
